Most successful businesswomen have faced — and overcome — many challenges throughout their careers, including some that are unique to their gender. Meanwhile, they have learned to juggle striving to be the best they can be at their jobs while also working additional hours behind the scenes to make Central Florida a better place to live through their community service.
Orlando Business Journal is honoring 22 such Central Florida female business leaders of all ages as the 2024 Women Who Mean Business, the 26th year of this program. These women have exceeded expectations in their roles, driving business success, industry growth, workforce development and community advancement.
An advisory committee of previous Women Who Mean Business honorees and editorial staff culled through dozens of nominations to choose this year’s group, which includes C-suite members from local companies, nonprofit leaders and professionals from various industries.
This year’s honorees were selected due to their business achievements, deep community involvement and personal accomplishments in the past year.
